British Gymnastics Membership
All members of CGA Gymnastics Satellites must be members of British Gymnastics. If you have not registered with British Gymnastics before you will need to register on their website. If you have been/still are an existing member of BG with a different club, please renew your membership and add ‘CGA Gymnastics Satellites’ as your club.
To register or renew please head to BG’s website where there is a link on the home page. When it asks for the gymnastics discipline, please tick ‘General Gymnastics’. You will not need to make a payment as you have already paid the fee to us, so you just need to input your child’s details. Please ensure you keep going through to the very end (the last few pages will say save and continue, keep going until there are no more pages otherwise your registration will not go through).
This must be completed by 31st October 2018 or your child will not be able to join in their session. It is very easy to complete and can be done a phone/tablet/laptop.
Bring a Friend Week
The week of the 29th October is bring a friend week! We only have a few spaces at venues left now and are waiting for our website to be complete until fully advertising. To fill those last spaces, we are inviting you to ask fellow friends if they would like to attend a free taster session the week of the 29th October. They will only qualify for this if they quote your child’s name and if there is space in the sessions available. They must contact us directly on email@example.com mention the members name (child’s) who has informed them about this event, state the session & venue of interest, their child’s name, dob and their contact number. If they then successfully sign up, you will receive 10% off your next terms fee. This only applies if you stay at CGA Gymnastics Satellites and don’t transfer to the main venue next term.
Spooktacular Half Term Camp
If you are looking for something to entertain your children with this October Half Term, then there are still a few spaces available at Cambridge Gymnastics Academy’s half term camp. Sessions run Monday-Friday 9-12pm & 1-4pm at £14 and an all-day session is 9-4pm at £28. To book or find out further information please head to https://cambridgegymnastics.co.uk/camp/
Baby & Pre-school lessons
For anyone who has younger children and wish to get them into gymnastics, Cambridge Gymnastics Academy has a wonderful baby & pre-school programme. There are still some spaces left and if you wish to find out further information or enquire about a space, please head to https://cambridgegymnastics.co.uk/class_category/baby-and-preschool/
Clothing for Christmas presents!
We will be doing our next clothing order the week of the 12th November. We will have the kit out to try on and orders will have to be made that week, in order for them to arrive by Christmas. Attached to this email is the clothing order form. If you wish for it to be kept a secret, then please state this on the form and we will make sure it’s kept a surprise for your loved ones. To the right is a reminder of the clothing we do and a size guide.
All fees for the Spring Term, 3rd January 2019 – 5th April 2019 (no classes during February half term, 18th – 22nd) will be invoiced on Monday 12th November and will be due by Monday 26th November. You will have two weeks to pay your fees. If fees are not paid by this date you will have a week’s grace but £5 will be added to each child’s invoice, as it takes a lot of admin time to chase outstanding fees. If you do not pay by Monday 3rd December, your child will forfeit their place. You must let us know by Saturday 3rd December if your child will not be continuing in the new term. Please get in contact with Hannah if you have any queries regarding the fees – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Just to remind all parents of general information for their child’s sessions.
Children must bring a drink with them, have their hair tied up and no jewellery on. If they are not able to take their earrings out yet, please ensure they come to the gym with them already taped up. The children’s clothing must not have zips, buttons or hoods on when they are taking part in their gymnastics session. Please may we also request that children do not wear crop tops when training. As coaches, we do not feel comfortable or appropriate supporting children in these.
